Welcome to Penketh Bowling Club
The aim of the club is to provide the opportunity for anyone from the local community, regardless of ability, to become a member and enjoy the game of crown green bowling.
Established for over 100 years, we are a small independent club run for and by the members. At present we have around 130 active members of all ages playing the game for the enjoyment it gives in an attractive environment.
No matter at what level you are able to play, whether it is novice, competitive or even if you have never played before, there is a welcome for you at our club. Our experienced members will help you to get started and go on to improve your game.
The club provides a mixture of social and competition bowling within the Warrington & North Cheshire Bowling Association. We also run our own ‘friendly’ competitions throughout the year.
During the season the green is open from 11am every day. The calendar shows the times when the green is reserved for team fixtures and other events.
