Club Competition Program 2026

The programme is being run to provide everyone with the opportunity to enjoy various formats of competitive bowling with fellow members.
Putting your skills to the test is fun! There is no better way to improve your game. And, you never know, you might be better than you think?

Entry forms will be posted in the club house at the beginning of the season.

Men’s Pairs.
Organiser: Alan Steele
Men’s pairs competition played on Wednesday 13th May.

- Two playing sessions will be available: an afternoon session from 15:00 to 17:30 and an evening session commencing at 18:00.
To complete the final rounds the competition may have to be extended by a further day, date TBD.
The format will be a knockout competition to 21up.

- All competitors will play at least two matches.
- The first round winners will progress to the final rounds of the trophy competition
- The first round losers will progress to the final rounds of a secondary competition
Players enter as individuals and a random draw will be made to select the pairs.

Hannah Carter Memorial Trophy.

Ladies’ singles competition to be played on Wednesday 3rd June.
Play will commence at 12:30pm
The format will be a Round Robin, played over two rounds to 15up.
A random draw will be completed on the day before the competition

The entry fee is £3. The entry fee provides for prize money, refreshments on the day and competition administration (incl. Trophy engraving, Honours Board entry).
