We have arranged four bowling trips this year and, as requested by members, two new venues have been found – we hope you enjoy them. The first of them is coming up fairly soon on the 8th of May, so we’ll need a quick response from members so that everything goes smoothly with the venue.

8th May: Owley Wood Recreation Club.

The cost is £40 per person. There are only a few weeks left before we have to confirm our requirements to the venue so we would appreciate payment in full at the time of booking

Travel by coach. All day bowling, with mixed pairs in the morning and ladies’ and men’s pairs in the afternoon. Day includes tea/coffee & biscuits on arrival, sandwich selection with chips.  Tea & coffee is freely available through the day. Hot & cold drinks can be purchased from the bar throughout the day. A two-course sit down meal will be served at end of play.

3rd July: The Goshawk, Mouldsworth, Nr. Chester. 

The cost is £48 per person. A non refundable deposit of £10 per person is required to confirm place on trip.

Travel by coach. All day bowling, with mixed pairs in the morning and ladies’ and men’s pairs in the afternoon. Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival. Individual choice of sandwich for lunch served with skinny fries and coleslaw. A three-course meal will be served in the restaurant at the end of play. Hot & cold drinks can be purchased from the bar throughout the day.

10th September: The Lever Club, Port Sunlight.

The cost is £32 per person. A non refundable deposit of £10 per person is required to confirm place on trip.

Travel by coach. All day bowling, with mixed pairs in the morning and ladies’ and men’s pairs in the afternoon. Tea/coffee on arrival. Club bar open for drinks from 11:30. Sandwich buffet lunch. Hot buffet and dessert selection at end of play.

 

22nd November: North Wales Indoor Bowls Centre, Prestatyn

The price is £50 per person bowling and £40 for spectators. A non refundable deposit of £10 per person is required to confirm place on trip. The number for bowling is limited to 40.

Travel by coach. Tea/coffee on arrival. Refreshments during the day can be purchased individually from the bar. A two-course meal will be provided at the end of the day’s play.

Bowling from 11:00 to 16:00 in teams of four. Hire of bowls and bowling shoes is included in the price.
