Once again we are offering a full programme of ten club competitions this year. They will include three ladies’, four men’s and three open competitions. Please click on the Competitions Tab for dates and details of all the competitions.

We hope that you will support the competitions in good numbers and continue the long tradition of honours board competitions in our club. Our oldest trophy, the Penketh Tanning Co. Challenge Bowl goes back to the 1930s and is still being contested by today’s members.

The competitions require a significant effort to organise and the success of the programme is totally dependent on the support from members. Each competition requires a minimum entry of 16 members for it to be a worthwhile and enjoyable competition. An expectation 20 or more entries does not seem too ambitious from a membership of more than 100.

The success or otherwise of this year’s programme will determine the future of members’ competitions at the club. Please support the programme.
